Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds volunteer at the Kirtland Temple. Those who are excited about Community of Christ history and meeting new people volunteer as interpreters for the "House of the Lord." Garden enthusiasts are welcome to dive into the gardens and assist the Temple maintenance team during the peak season of April through October each year. Several Kirtland Temple volunteers find a home at the Visitor Center assisting in the museum store, greeting visitors, and managing group reservations. Finally, volunteers are welcome to assist in the research, care, and management of the library and artifact collections. Our enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers are the backbone of our success as a historic site.
