Mission, Vision, and Purpose of the Kirtland Temple Today

Mission:

The Kirtland Temple is a National Historic Landmark that engages its visitors by interpreting, collecting and preserving the Kirtland Temple and the material culture of the faith community connected to the historic house of worship.

The Kirtland Temple is a non-profit historic site owned and maintained by the Community of Christ. For more information about the Community of Christ, contact the church’s website.

Funding for the Kirtland Temple comes from the Community of Christ, Community of Christ Historic Sites Foundation, and generous donations from visitors.
