1835 Doctrine and Covenants
The Doctrine and Covenants was the Latter Day Saints’ second attempt to standardize church beliefs. The first part of the book is a collection of seven lectures (the doctrine), while the second part records more than one hundred revelations (the covenants and commandments). This first edition was printed in Kirtland in 1835.
The 257-page book measures 6" x 4" (15.4 x 10.16 cm); selected pages are included here.
